At The Supermarket

The other day when I got off the bus on the way back from work, I went to the supermarket to buy
lettuce (one of my addictions). I was wearing a black and white dress, black satin shoes and, of
course, my collar. I left my briefcase in the lockers and went in. I picked the lettuce, paid and
left.

I went to the lockers to pick up the briefcase, and while looking for a bag to put the lettuce,
the guy who takes care of the ockers (and he knows me for a long time) stared at me.

Suddenly he said: that’s beautiful, is it a necklace?

I replied promptly: yes, very beautiful isn’t it? But no, it’s not a necklace, it’s a collar.

His eyes widened and I completed: serves to show the world that I have an owner!

And I went home smiling.

I believe if we don’t like the way we are we must try the best to change to be someone you like when look at the mirror (or just inside). And why not to be proud when get there?
